Welcome To
Crossgates Methodist Church

Who are we?

Crossgates UMC was founded in 1973 by a group of faithful United Methodists who started meeting in a horse barn. Shortly after that, they moved to 23 Crossgates Dr. and built a new sanctuary. Then in 1991, the current sanctuary was built to meet the needs of the growing congregation. The last addition to the building came in 2001 when the Christian Activities Center was built behind the main sanctuary. The people that worshiped at 23 Crossgates Dr. experienced a year-long discernment process in 2024 to explore which direction God was leading the Church. In January 2025, Crossgates Methodist Church was founded as it officially exited the UMC. Crossgates Methodist Church preserves both its Methodist and Wesleyan heritage and continues to fully embrace traditional Wesleyan theology and ethos. Crossgates Methodist Church lives up to its Mission Statement that says that we are:

Come Worship With Us!

10:30 - Traditional Worship Service
Join us each Sunday morning for a traditional worship service centered on Scripture, prayer, and the praise of God. Our service features a choir, historic creeds, responsive readings, and timeless hymns that connect us to the rich heritage of the Christian faith. Whether you are a longtime believer or visiting for the first time, we invite you to worship with us as we grow together in Christ.
